I Forget Myself creates sandy rock and sludge dunes with the album, "Some Err then Winter"

I Forget Myself is the rising tide that engulfs the sun. That is well and good, for their music is a source of energy in itself. The individual has created some brilliant albums which create narratives unlike any other. Creating snarly riffs along with amalgamations that might be considered unholy by purists-this is your jam. Trust me, for this goes double platinum in my collection. This one is called Some Err then Winter.

The ambience and the grit. Consider this album to be the first off experience of being thrown in 7 foot deep snow, when hungry. Yes, you’ll gripe, but there’s an adrenaline rush that cannot be explained. I Forget Myself takes his brains chemistry to another level with this album, building on the epiphanic energy of the 2022 album, Sing. The explosive colours are like a TNT loaded with LSD and sent into the ISS. There is nothing more exciting than not being able to predict what will come next in the song. Vocals shine through like a young Mark Lanegan, and I couldn’t give a higher compliment.

When percussions kick in, I Forget Myself is easy to remember. It is that band you heard that made you groove all night-while checking out the catalogue while snacking on pot brownies. It is the kind of project that puts your faith in the talent of live music. Feeding yourself to the instrument, the sacrifice and mirth having all the worth.
